Because we know first hand the struggles and battles our veterans face back here at home and most times all alone. Great Dane Service Dogs are the only breed large enough to keep a 400 pound man from falling and by far the only creatures that can get that same man up and off the floor after a fall. Their ability to detect biological, physiological, and pheromone changes in the human body and act upon it causes them to not only change lives but also save lives. Veterans with Service Dogs are also less likely to commit suicide by more than 60% and have been known to eliminate PTSD.
